Riverton Community Peace Pole Project-January 11, 2008

Friday, April 4th, 2008

The Riverton Community held a spontaneous gathering in honor of Martin Luther King Day. Everyone read excerpts from King’s famous Riverside Church speech about the Viet Nam War. The Brahma Kamaris, from the nearby BK Meditation Center, were invited.

A possible Earth Day Peace Pole Dedication will take place. Those in the Riverton Community feel that the dedication ceremony will not only bring positive closure to their project, but provide yet another opportunity for more education about it.

Some letters of thanks and praise from our dedicated members…

“Congrats on the First Issue! What wonderful work you are doing. I am so very grateful for the insight and collaborative efforts that so many must be offering to bring to the World Family these timely stories of hope, love and peace. Every story and all of the pictures are broad reaching. You have thought to include the children, The World Citizen, the Soldiers, World Leaders and Peace Reps all in one Issue.”

“Greetings from Sri Lanka! We thank you for May Peace Prevail On Earth News letter February 2008.”

“Thank you so much for bringing May Peace Prevail On Earth News into our home with this first issue! It is such a delight to see that so many people all over the world are playing a part in making world peace more of a reality. I can’t wait to see the next issue. Keep up the good work!”
