April 11th, 2011

River City Living Church’s Peace Pole was dedicated in a ceremony after service on 4-10-11. The church congregation planted it outside in the meditation garden near the pond and waterfall. There are tables and chairs nearby for those who wish to meditate and pray. The languages chosen were: English, Hebrew, Spanish and German.

Thank you so much for providing us with this wonderful reminder of God’s love for all of us.

As always, committed to your success.

Hi Ann Marie,

Here are a few photographs of our newest Peace Pole planted at The Thomas E. Chew Boys and Girls Club of Fall River.

The Peace Pole was completely designed by kids with the help of Americorp member, Syed Zaman (gentleman wearing bandana) who is also the Youth Leadership Coordinator for Boys & Girls Club of Fall River.

The Teal lights you see on the Peace Pole in the photograph is for Sexual Assault Awareness month. We have dressed all the Peace Poles in town as part of our awareness month proclamations:

Purple for Domestic Violence Awareness
Teal for Sexual Assault Awareness
Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness
Green for Earth Day

Seek peace and persue it!
May Peace Prevail On Earth!
