Peace Pole – South Carolina – USA

Monday, December 2nd, 2013

My name is Nancy and I live in South Carolina.

Thank you for your compliments on my Peace Pole. I have seen a few in my travels and I decided to make my home and self one. Peace feels so good. Maybe one day the politicians and violent people will catch on.

I made my pole out of a column for porches that I purchased at Home Depot and they were kind enough to cut it for me. I wanted it to be 6 ft. All 4 sides say the same thing in different languages. I then sprayed it with a clear weatherizer which they recommended. The pole is heavy but also hollow so you can either have an electric light on top , running the wiring on the inside or have much cheaper solar lights which is what I have. You can purchase those that are a perfect fit for the top for under ten dollars.
