Peace Dolls – May Peace Prevail on Earth throughout Asia

Tuesday, February 25th, 2014

Currently I am living in Kuantan, East Coast of Peninsula Malaysia. A friend of mine in Japan gave me Peace Dolls in which I have presented to various people who I have met here.  A longtime friend of my wife, Ms. Mei Yew, offered to bring back dozens of Peace Dolls to Hong Kong, and sent back many photos of people holding the Peace Dolls.

World Peace Flag Ceremony Globe – Japan

Flag Ceremony Globe

It all started with a vision to create a three dimensional World Peace Flag Ceremony tool.  Before then Ms. Yuriko Kaneda was creating Flag Ceremony booklets giving the names and flags of each country but her ideas of creating a more visual and inspiring method became her passion.

After much trial and error she found the perfect medium to create her prototype using a make-it-yourself paper lantern kit.  She proudly shares with us her World Peace Flag Ceremony Globe with the flags of each nation and a prayer for peace to prevail in the native language of each country.
