We planted one Peace Pole in the garden of the school in Isamyilli.
There were so many pupils in this school, about 200. We also had approximately 30 participants of Olympic Peace Rides.

After planting a Peace Pole with children and the principal of this school, we had a flag ceremony. The weather was so fine and everyone seemed to enjoy this peace event in the beautiful school garden.

We also planted another Peace Pole in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, at school 134.
We placed the Peace Pole in a big bowl so that they can decorate it indoors. The flag ceremony was held on the stage of the school hall.

I was interviewed by local newspaper journalists regarding my role as a Peace Representative of The World Peace Prayer Society and The Peace Pole Project.

To our delight, the Peace Pole planting and Flag Ceremony were broadcasted live by local television station.

With infinite love and peace,
Masayo
