“The Wave, the Rope, the Sword and The Golden Key of Mankind” The Time Series Poems

By ReAwakennd Poet Andrew Kaen

Crashing the shore against
The multitude of love bathing
Our craving soul-quenching thirst,
By the exhaustive waves,
Of incredible dimensions,
Rainbows everywhere,
Swarm into the magnitude,
Of our Divine Being,
Asking for us to plea,
On our knees for our breath,
Holds lock and key,
And our forgiveness,
Answers our mercy,
For cries, for joy, for love,
All rest aside,
Upon the waves of our soul,
Flavors of all taste,
Flavors in all form,
Favors that we have bestowed,
Upon our very core,
Are now restored;
Here lies victory,
For the saints are marching in,
And the ships are pulling in,
And the rope that ties the golden sounds
To our gravity,
Hook, line and sinker,
No longer do we have to sink down
To the shores of man,
We will have found the hook,
When we realize the following lines:
That all along we have forgotten,
That we have forgotten the way,
How almighty the sword is, that rises
Above sea level,
This almighty multi-jeweled sword, in size and grip
Symbolizes not just the violence we have chosen,
For so many many years,
The wounds that have been made leaving us scarred,
Yet symbolizes the truth that shall set us free,
Now and only now can we truly see the way,
Why it is so,
That we have taken so long?
Why is not the word,
The word is time,
The time is now,
And now is time,
For us to breathe new harmony into our lungs,
(We have fallen and we can get up)
And pray for forgiveness,
(For all that we have done as the Human Race)
(And forgive thy neighbor where Thy Kingdom Shall Come)
Pray for renewal (for the New Dawn is Rising)
And Pray for World Peace,
May Peace Prevail on Earth.

Peace Pole by Energy for Peace Organization-Colombia

Thursday, October 22nd, 2009

Dear All,

News from my Austrian “Energy for Peace” friends who support WPPS Peace Pole Project and other activities of The World Peace Prayer Society.

I was asked if WPPS gives the official permission for a project of Colombian artist Danilo Ortiz till October 15th.

Back in November 2007, I sent you all photos of him when he planted a lovely handmade artistic Peace Pole in his Colombian home town.

Then he planted Peace Pole in 2008 at a University of Narino in San Juan de Pasto, Colombia. The peace pole at the university is part of his project “Wall for Peace” (Murales por Paz).

He lives and works most of the time in Austria, and is a member of “Energy for Peace” there and travels to Colombia this autumn to start his latest

project:  A 16 meter tall Peace Pole, made of melted weapons of former Colombian Guerilla Rebels.

This Peace Pole will be donated to the Governor of the Colombian Province Pasto and will be planted at the border between Colombia and Ecuador.

The Peace Pole will contain plaques of MPPOE in several languages. These plaques shall also feature the signatures of prominent people, such as:

Nelson Mandela, author Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Bolivian President, Evo Morales, Peace Nobel Winner Rigoberta Menchu, Colombian President Alvaro Uribe and others.

The plaques will be designed and crafted together with Austrian School Children in a Peace Workshop.

Peace Pole unites Switzerland, Germany and Austria

October 3rd, 2009

On October 3rd, 2009, another Peace Pole was planted within the circle of my “Energy for Peace” friends in Austria.

The Peace Pole was planted in a little town named Wolfurt in the vicinity of Lake Bodensee which is an area that unites Switzerland, Germany and Austria.

The Peace Pole was crafted by a local Austrian artist.  To honor the diversity within our world, the Peace Pole was crafted by using 4 different types of wood, which is clearly visible when one views each of the four sides.

The Peace Pole was dedicated to Soma from Sierra Leone, who was working in Wolfurt for over 3 months in the local “One World Shop” (on the occasion of a “North-South-Study-Partnership Programme).

The languages placed on the Peace Pole include:  English for the Soma people and Turkish and Serbo-Croatian, where many of the Immigrants in Germany and Austria come from.

May Peace Prevail On Earth in Turkey

June 21st, 2009

This summer I took a trip with my family to study the ancient Greek ruins in Greece and Turkey.  On my way to the site of Ephesus we stayed in Selcuk, Turkey. When I walked through a rose garden approaching the entrance to Kalihan, the hotel we were staying, I saw “May Peace Prevail on Earth” in multiple languages, posted all over the front entrance window,    just like the ones I’ve grown up seeing all around my home town. I just had to take a photograph and share it with all of you.  I have lived in Millerton New York my entire life and have attended many Festivals and gatherings at The World Peace Sanctuary.   I just love the MESSAGE!   May Peace Prevail On Earth!  Katherine Afzal
