Peace Pole in Griffin Park- Fall River, MA, USA

Linda Hennesey (Healthfirst) and Brenda Viverios (BMC Healthnet) at Peace Pole in Griffin Park in Fall River, Massachusetts. Both agencies are planting Peace Poles as part of the Fall River Peace Pole project initiative. The language seen here on this Peace Pole is Arabic. The residents of Corky Row Neighborhood where Griffin Park is located, chose Arabic to represent the countries with which we are having conflict. Utilizing Arabic on the Peace Pole reinforces the fact that we want peace with all people, even those that are perceived as our enemies.
