Peace Pole Planting planting in Hamburg 26th August- 2008

On August 26th another Peace Pole Dedication was held in Hamburg, Germany on a green spot of the senior home “New Living Home.”

The message May Peace Prevail On Earth is inscribed in: German, English, Japanese and Thai.

Organizer, Mr. Majcharek led a meditation with the elderly people after the Peace Pole Dedication. Mr. Majcharek learned about Peace Poles by attending a Peace Pole Dedication Ceremony many years ago and by attending a conference, in Hamburg, where a representative of The World Peace Prayer Society presented The Peace Pole Project. Mr. Majcharek was so moved by the words, May Peace Prevail On Earth, that it inspired him to handcraft this Peace Pole. As Gardening Engineer for the town of Hamburg, he wanted a Peace Pole on the green!
