Peace Poles planted in Allentown, Pennsylvania-USA

The church, Ripple, in Allentown, PA has planted 2 Peace Poles recently in honor of two pastor’s ordinations.

Angela Moyer’s Peace Pole was planted at McKinley Elementary School at 1124 W. Turner St, Allentown, PA 18102 in the fall of 2016. We did not have a ceremony but we use it as a prayer station for our prayer walks.  We learned about the Peace Pole Project from fellow pastors.

Ben Walter’s Peace Pole was planted at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church where our church, Ripple, gathers on Sunday afternoons. This is at 36. S. 8th St, Allentown, PA 18101. It is also the location of a soup kitchen 3 days/week and a drop in center for the homeless during the winter months. Ben’s Peace Pole was planted on April 30th, 2017.  We had a dedication ceremony on that date.
