Rick Lukens, Architects of a New Dawn receives Culture of Peace Award, California-USA

An open house event was hosted by Rick Lukens, Architects of a New Dawn at the Craneway Pavilion on March 11th to introduce this state of the art venue.  A Peace Pole was displayed at the entrance way to the event surrounded by 192 Nation Flags.  Guests gravitated around the Peace Pole and resonated with the message, May Peace Prevail On Earth, which became a focal point of the evening’s event.

Rick Lukens is a global citizen who is passionate about effecting positive change in the world by enhancing human relations, cultural understanding, social and environmental justice.  He was the International Director for the Live Aid concerts, the Hunger Project’s 10th Anniversary and producer of Amnesty International’s Human Rights Now, in addition to various other global events. 

As recipient of the A Culture of Peace Award and Friends of The Peace Pole Project, Rick Lukens was presented with a desktop Peace Pole by Fumi Johns-Stewart, Executive Director of The World Peace Prayer Society.
