A bit over 2 1/2 years ago I contacted each of you about a new project that we had begun in Mountain View, Arkansas to build a Peace Pole from the native stone of the area. After many delays, trials and tribulations, we have completed the Peace Pole and will hold our Peace Pole Dedication Ceremony at 6:30 pm on September 21st.

The Peace Pole is located at AmVets Post #7, 1112 West Main St. in Mountain View, Arkansas. All peoples of goodwill are invited to attend, and any help you may give in broadcasting the word about both the Stone County Peace Pole and it’s Dedication will be gratefully appreciated.
