It was an honor to be in the presence of Dr. Chief Arvol Looking Horse, “Keeper of the Sacred Pipe” Lakota/Sioux Nation and Founding Advisory Board member of The World Peace Prayer Society. Chief Arvol Looking Horse led the group in a very sacred ( peace pipe- c’anunpa) prayer ceremony offering prayers of gratitude and prayers for healing for Mother Earth and All Life on Earth!
As the youth were preparing to start the run, two red-tailed hawks circled above—an unexplainable sense of “well being”was clearly present among all.

30 mile youth led prayer run for World Peace-from The World Peace Sanctuary-Headquarters of The World Peace Prayer Society to Bowdoin County Park Wappingers Falls, NY.

An 8 foot –8 language Peace Pole will be planted honoring “sacred sites” at Bowdoin County Park in celebration of World Peace & Prayer Day, a 4-day event, starting June 19th-June 22nd, 2014.
All Nations-All Faiths-One Prayer—“MAY PEACE PREVAIL ON EARTH.”
