A Peace Pole and Peace Garden were planted at the center of the Gettysburg College campus and dedicated to the life and legacy of Emily Rachel Silverstein. The Peace Garden includes the weeping cherry tree Emily’s high school friend Jessica Weidman raised money for. This tribute serves as a permanent place on campus for students and faculty to find a peaceful moment and inspiration to make a difference in their lives.
