Woodstock International “Walk for World Peace” Woodstock, New York-USA

The 4th annual International Walk for World Peace is held in the hamlet of Woodstock, New York. More than 100 people participated carrying national flags. Others carried banners bearing the message, “May Peace Prevail On Earth” in various languages. Each year, messengers of peace march through the center of town, past the village green, where a beautiful hand-sculptured Peace Pole stands vigil, bearing the universal peace message, May Peace Prevail On Earth in over 100 languages. The walk concluded at Comeau Park, with a World Peace Flag Ceremony.
