Ardmore Rotary Club spreads the Universal Peace Message, May Peace Prevail On Earth! Wynnewood, Pennsylvania – USA
September 25th, 2013
The Rotary Club of Ardmore dedicated its newly installed Peace Pole at Wynnewood Valley Park’s Sensory Garden Wednesday. Officials from Lower Merion Township and Lower Merion Conservancy and Rotary International Past President Wilf Wilkinson of Ontario, Canada, joined members of the community and the Ardmore Rotary for the ceremony.
The Peace Pole’s setting in the Sensory Garden is appropriate. The Rotary Club of Ardmore, in partnership with the Township of Lower Merion, built and dedicated the Wynnewood Valley Park “Garden for the Blind and Children” in 1977. Created by the late Bill Mulford, a Rotarian and professional landscaper, the multi-tiered garden introduced Braille plates to identify the flowers and shrubs.
The garden is located at 1500 Remington Road in Wynnewood, Pennsylvania-USA
