Sound Bath and Guided Meditation at The World Peace Sanctuary Wassaic, NY

On Wednesday evening, Cristina Reyes-Schleifer presented an original and enthralling presentation at the World Peace Sanctuary. She combined a relaxing guided meditation along with her unique therapeutic “Sound Bath.”

Cristian lulled the participants into a state of deep relaxation with the gentle sounds of Tibetan singing bowls, tuning forks, chimes, gongs, bells, rain sticks, and a wide array of instruments to help create waves of sound.

Sound bathing goes as far back as the times of ancient Greek philosophers, who used the frequencies as a form of medicine to treat a myriad of ailments. this holistic practice of sound bathing has also been known to help relieve stress, insomnia, anxiety, chronic pain, and even depression. According to Delamora.life.

Some of the participants put mats on the floor and just stretched out while others sank deeply into their couch seats and comfortable chairs; all seemed to let go of all worries and concerns.

It was a great turnout, so much so, we are offering an on-going Sound Meditation Evening.

Starting this coming Wednesday, May 22 from 7:00-8:00 p.m., at The World Peace Sanctuary, 26 Benton Road, Wassaic, NY 12592

There will be a $5.00 donation for this hour long session. We hope you will come and join us let the sound of Tibetan bowls help calm your mind and relax your body through Sound Meditation.
