Democratic Republic of Congo Celebrates the 100 Day of Peace for 2024

The World Peace Foundation , an organisation in the Democratic Republic of Congo that has been a partner of Living Peace for many years.

John Mukhuta, its founder and president, is currently the coordinator for the Living Peace network in Lwalaba Province. The celebration marked the beginning of the 100 days of preparation for the 21st of September. 300 people, authorities, young students, professors, etc. were present at the celebration.

“We’ve got students in the school who’ve come over from Ukraine and joined the school because they’ve had to leave the country, so it’s part of what we do in terms of developing students as global citizens and getting an understanding of the world around them.
