Peace Pole planted at Rowe Middle School in Milwaukie, Oregon-USA

September 21, 2024

The 2024 International Day of Peace, The Rotary club of Milwaukie, Oregon planted a Peace Pole at Rowe Middle School, at 3606 SE Lake Rd, Milwaukie, OR 97222.  We performed a short dedication ceremony, but the (2) formal dedication ceremonies will be held at school assemblies on Friday, 9/27/2024.

This marks the final [public] school, in the Milwaukie City Limits, to receive a Peace Pole, after remodeling then COVID-19 inhibited our ability to plant this Peace Pole.
