Veterans For Peace #71 & local Rotary Clubs, to install a Peace Pole in every school in Sonoma County-CALIFORNIA

Veterans For Peace #71 is in the middle of a project, along with local Rotary Clubs, to install a Peace Pole in every school in Sonoma County – more than 200. Our president Fred Ptucha and our treasurer Terence McNeill are the energy behind the project. “May Peace Prevail on Earth” is on the Peace Poles in eight languages and the school gets to choose which languages best represent their community.

The logos of VFP and Rotary also appear on the poles. So far, 63 poles have been installed, with many more planned for this school year. This example (I chose it because of its colorful mural) is at Rancho Cotate High School in Rohnert Park, CA.
