The 27th Annual Peace Pals International Art Exhibition has left an indelible mark on the sands of time. We were thrilled to hear about the first-place winner from Nigeria on the African continent. The decision by May Peace Prevail on Earth International Executive Director Fumi Johns and Peace Pals International Director Jules Loren to hold a brief prize presentation ceremony in Nigeria was a welcome development.

I traveled to Asaba, Delta State, Nigeria, with two teammates (Chidi Chibuna and Mr. Ubong Udoumoh) on February 4, 2025. The ceremony took place at Perfecta Schools, Asaba, Delta State, Nigeria, on February 5, 2025, between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM.
We were warmly welcomed to Delta State with love and hospitality by the proprietor of Perfecta Schools, Dr. Chika Peace Enueme, and her management staff.
The ceremony began with an opening prayer by Bishop Paul Evumovwe. The Nigerian national anthem and our world peace anthem, “May Peace Prevail on Earth,” were sung by over 1,000 participants.

Dr. Chika Peace Enueme delivered a welcome speech, praising Peace Pals International for its initiative and wishing Director Jules Loren a happy birthday. She concluded her speech with the message “May Peace Prevail on Earth.”
Nigerian Peace Representative Amb Mojima Etokudo saluted the First Place Winner (Kamsi Chibuzor), the finalist, and other participants in the 27th Annual Peace Pals International Art Exhibition. He thanked the management of Perfecta Schools for raising peace ambassadors in Nigeria and Africa.
The message from Peace Pals International Director Jules Loren was read by retired Nigerian Army officer Mr. Chidi Chibuna.

PRIZE PRESENTATION
The five participants from Perfecta Schools in the 27th Annual Peace Pals International Art Exhibition received certificates of participation. The finalist, Adaeze Olive Orji, and the First Place Winner, Kamsi Chibuzor, received:
– A peace pole
– A peace medal
– Peace buttons
– Peace stickers
– A certificate
– A banner

Kamsi Chibuzor delivered a thought-provoking speech, promising to live in the spirit of peace and praying “May Peace Prevail on Earth.”
PEACE POLE PRESENTATION
Dr. Chika Peace Enueme received a desktop peace pole as an Ambassador of Peace and was decorated with a peace button.
FLAG CEREMONY
The students of Perfecta Schools performed the World Peace Flag Ceremony, sending prayers for peace to countries worldwide through their flags.

PEACE POLE PLANTING
A 6-foot-3-inch square iron peace pole was planted at Perfecta Schools, Asaba, Delta State, Nigeria, and a prayer for world peace was offered by Pastor Kingdom Ekeshili as a guest at the ceremony post for a photograph at the Peace Pole stand.

GOODWILL MESSAGE
The Commissioner for Education in Delta State and stakeholders in the education sector attended the ceremony. In his speech, Dr. Kingsley Ashibuogwu (Commissioner for Prìmarý Education Delta State) Represented by
Director of Schools, Delta State Ministry for Education, Mrs Winifred Ighavbota congratulated Kamsi Chibuzor for making Nigeria proud, thanked Perfecta Schools for creating a conducive learning environment, and praised Peace Pals International for being a unifying force in peacebuilding.
The ceremony was witnessed by eminent personalities, including a High Court Judge at Delta State, Hon. Justice Excel G Timi, politicians, bishops, parents of Kamsi Chibuzor, and other parents as well as friends of Perfecta Schools. Over 1,000 students from Perfecta Schools and Journalists from three media houses.
The event featured cultural performances, dance, music, and flute performances by the students of Perfecta Schools.
The ceremony received widespread media coverage from the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), Delta Broadcasting Service (DBS), radio stations, newspaper corporations, and social media.
Perfecta Schools provided lunch packs for all participants, and everyone received at least two stickers with the message “May Peace Prevail on Earth.” Mr. Victor Olaleye, the head of the arts department, received a peace button and stickers, promising to encourage his students to participate in future exhibitions.
It was a pleasure to converge at Perfecta Schools, Asaba, Delta State, Nigeria, for the Peace Pals International Art Exhibition prize and award ceremony. We look forward to more collaborations in the future.
