Posted: April 11, 2025

Nowruz is the ancient festival of Iranians. Celebrated by more than 300 million people worldwide, it is a 3,000-year-old tradition cherished in Iran, Afghanistan, Central Asia, and beyond.

It is celebrated with the arrival of spring and the renewal of nature. During this ceremony, the Haft-Sin table is set, which includes (apple, vinegar, sweet wheat paste, jujube, sumac, sprouts, garlic, a mirror, and a book of poetry by Hafez).

Eggs are painted in the most beautiful way possible and placed on the table. This year, at Nikoo Pendar Educational Center, the eggs were designed with the theme of peace and the symbol of the Year of the Snake in the hope that peace will be established in the world.
