Hit by Hurricane Helene Sending prayers to Hot Springs, NC, USA

The town of Hot Springs, NC, nestled in the Southern Appalachia region, was hit hard by Hurricane Helene.  Just months before the Hurricane, Fumi Johns Stewart, Executive Director, visited the community of Hot Springs.

The owner of The Artisan Gallery and Cafe was happy to display her traveling Peace Pole for several days while she visited the town.  

Then the Hurricane hit, and The Artisan was completely submerged in the flood waters as was the entire town. Let’s continue to send our prayers for the rebuilding of not only Hot Springs but also the restoration of property and lives of so many throughout the regions affected by the Hurricane.
