Rotary honors past members with Peace Pole and tree, New Castle Pennsylvania-USA

December-2024

New Castle Rotary Club 89 members planted a tree and erected a Peace Pole in memory of club members who have passed away.

A Peace Pole is an internationally recognized symbol of the hopes and dreams of the entire human family, standing vigil in silent prayer for peace on earth.

New Castle Rotary, # 89, members; Kathy Graziani and Heather Strong work on the Peace Pole.

Each pole bears the message “May Peace Prevail On Earth” in different languages on each of its four sides. There are estimated to be more than 250,000 throughout the world.

The tree is a Ruby Dayz Flowering Crab.
